The Filipinos in Bristol created a buzz 8 years
ago with the first major waves of immigration
of nurses as an answer for the increasing
demand of highly competent medical
practitioners for Bristol’s medical facilities.
Since then, the Filipino population in Bristol has
continued to grow and their effect on the socio-
political spectrum has continued to expand.

One of the most sought out
festivals in the South West,
the Bath International Music
Festival is a 17-day musical
extravaganza.

Considered one of the main
openers for the summer long
Festival season, the Bath
International Music Festival
kicked off last week with a
bang. As part of its tradition,
the first day of the opening
week, Friday, May 22, was
the party of parties.
